Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is a comprehensive analysis of Biblical prophecy, in light of Scriptures ignored by many teachers of Eschatology today. Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and numerous Old Testament prophets wrote that the Messiah would defeat a wicked king in the latter days from the lands once known as Assyria or Babylon-modern day Iraq. This book presents Biblical evidence that the Antichrist will rise from this land, and temporarily establish a new "Islamic empire" in the Middle East. This empire will rise after the nations of the world force Israel from half of Jerusalem and Judea (the West Bank, ) according to Bible prophecy. Learn how the predicted outcome of the Israeli/Palestinian dispute of the holy land perfectly reflects unique events of modern history, including the rise of radical Islam. Third edition.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “If a person commits a crime against another people, and they are someday sorrowful of this crime, they will ask forgiveness from the person; we may or may not be forgiven; if we are not forgiven, either way we need to let it go. They will forgive you in their time, when it is right for them, that is the Creator’s job, not yours. In asking forgiveness from the Creator, you need to let it go. The Creator immediately will forgive us once we ask it of Him. It is our human nature to think, sometimes our crimes are too horrific in nature. The human in us tells us Creator can’t forgive those; it is the human in us that makes us think, it is the human in us we need to turn off. Only then is when we listen to our heart. The Creator does not have a court with a judge, jury or prosecutor; there is only One, Him. He does not have a scale or measure to determine or compare one crime to another, to Him a crime is a crime, if the crime is being an adulterer, a liar, or a murderer, to Him they are all the same, the punishment is the same. What matters is not the crime, but that you were spiritual enough to ask forgiveness from our Creator. Don’t let the human in you think you cannot be forgiven, that is Satan influencing you, Satan will want you to think you are no good and can’t possibly be forgiven. DO NOT listen to that one. Let your heart, your spirit take over with the understanding it is done. The Creator wants you to know you do not repeatedly need to be forgiven for the same crime. You have been forgiven, so you are to go on as He intended. He created us to be happy, so that is what you will do. And you are to be sure you forgive others for their crimes against you. That is just how it works.”

Download or read book Revelation 1 11 written by Peter J. Leithart and published by Bloomsbury Publishing. This book was released on 2018-02-22 with total page 512 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Book of Revelation is the last book in the canon of the New Testament, and its only apocalyptic document, though there are short apocalyptic passages in various places in the gospels and the epistles. This first of two volumes on Revelation offers systematic and thorough interpretation of the book of Revelation. Revelation brings together the worlds of heaven, earth and hell in a final confrontation between the forces of good and evil. Its characters and images are both real and symbolic, spiritual and material, and it is frequently difficult to know the difference between them. Revelation's cryptic nature has ensured that it would always be a source of controversy. This commentary focuses on the theological content, gleaning the best from both the classical and modern commentary traditions and showing the doctrinal development of Scriptural truths. Scholarship on the book of Revelation has nonetheless not only endured, but even captured the imagination of generations of Bible students, both professionals and laypeople alike. Through its focus on the message of the book through scholarly analysis, this International Theological Commentary reconnects to the ecclesial tradition of biblical commentary as an effort in ressourcement, though not slavish repetition.
Download or read book Angels and Beasts written by Laurentiu Florentin Mot and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2017-03-13 with total page 102 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Angels and Beasts looks into the interplay between the angelic figures in the vision of the seven seals. John creates a relationship between the four living creatures and the four riders in Revelation 6:1-8 that must not be overlooked. This connection works between the two groups as a whole and at the one-to-one level. The blending of symbols and the communication between these symbolic figures reveal exegetical, theological, and spiritual lessons. Both the scenario and the script of John's vision talk about terms and ties in the realm of angelic beings. For John these relations in the world above are a code to unlock relations in the world below.
Download or read book Revelation written by Dr. Adrian G. Haymond and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2015-10-30 with total page 378 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Revelation: An Apostolic Commentary is a detailed journey through the Apostle John’s vision as given to him by the glorified Jesus Christ while in exile on the island of Patmos. The book uses a variety of methods to unlock some of the mysteries surrounding the apocalyptic language that permeates the prophetic book in order to give a realistic view of what should be a timeless and encouraging message to Christians around the world. In this book, the author explores such subjects as the purpose of the letters to the seven churches in Asia Minor, the series of judgments as portrayed by seals, trumpets and bowls, the character and career of the foretold Antichrist, and the eventual victory of Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords over the determined opposition of Satan and his legions. The overall message reverberating throughout the book serves to encourage the saints of God, both young and old, to persevere through life’s circumstances and trials, no matter how dire, receiving the ultimate prize awaiting all who ‘endure unto the end’.

Download or read book The Meaning of the Revelation written by Philip Carrington and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2008-05-01 with total page 424 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The object of this book is to provide a running commentary on the Book of Revelation, elucidating its meaning. Other introductory and technical considerations are subordinated to this main quest. Though a scholarly work, it is written in a manner free from technicalities so as to make it useful to the general reader. It was written with the hope that a simple treatise on Revelation's meaning would help clergy and others who often have to deal with people who take it in a false and literal sense. When the Revelation was originally written it was naturally accepted as an account of current events and of events "shortly to come to pass"; that is how it describes itself (Rev 1:1, 3; 22:6, 10), and that is how it was naturally taken. Unfortunately, the key to its meaning was soon lost, and its mystical symbolism was taken as literal description. When it reflects events of history, it is current events that it reflects. The Revelation represents great principles working themselves out in actual history. The book is a literary unity stamped throughout by the mark of a great genius. It is one of the loftiest mystical poems the world has produced. Revelation insists that certain events of worldwide importance are coming immediately, following the same general lines as Christ's Olivet Discourse, which spoke to events of which the Lord himself declared: "Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place" (Matt 24:34).
