Download or read book How to Find Mr Right written by Kerry Gardette and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2011-05-25 with total page 188 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book was created to assist women who want to meet men but are reluctant to approach them because of social barriers. Many women think it is not lady-like to approach men. Or that there is an imaginary line women should not cross because men should introduce themselves. How many times have you seen a man you thought was attractive and would like to meet? Perhaps he did not notice you or was distracted at the time you noticed him. So, the opportunity just passed without any eye contact or conversation. It became just another missed opportunity to meet Mr. Right. I have created a way for you to meet men in a fun, very unassuming way. I call it "the game". It is designed for you to meet men and ask questions. "The game" is a method to eliminate ineligible men so that the last man standing is Mr. Right.

Download or read book Showdowns written by Jeremy Roberts and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2009-11-24 with total page 224 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Two decades of the top twenty fan favorites and the matches that made them famous. It starts with an insult...then comes a push, a shove...a betrayal. Before you know it, the two wrestlers are at each other's throats. It's a rivalry, it's personal...it's a showdown. Some showdowns are straightforward: John Cena wants to prove himself by taking on JBL; Randy Orton knows that if he can slay Undertaker, it will prove that he is the legend killer. Others are grudge matches -- The Rock is finally going to put Stone Cold Steve Austin, the bionic redneck, in his place. There are conflicts we can all identify with: Steve Austin doing to Mr. McMahon what we dream of doing to our boss every Monday morning. There are the epic showdowns that evoke the eternal struggle: Undertaker versus Kane. And the truly bizarre: Mankind against Shawn Michaels. Here for the first time ever, Jeremy Roberts (co-author of Controversy Creates Cash and Batista Unleashed) examines the top twenty rivalries of the past twenty years. Roberts takes us on a veritable tour of recent wrestling history, from Hulk Hogan's showdowns with Randy Savage to the gargantuan struggles between Undertaker and Batista. The high-flying action of the Hardy Boyz, the Dudleys, Edge & Christian -- all are examined in what amounts to a brief for the wrestlers' inclusion in the hall of fame. From the Monday Night Wars between nWo and D-Generation X to the real-life conflict that spawned Matt Hardy's memorable bloodfest with Edge, Roberts takes you into the ring so vividly you'll come away with bruises.

Download or read book Evolution of a Life written by Vanessa K Wood and published by Brian L King. This book was released on 2013-05-30 with total page 178 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This collection of poetry represents a journey of a portion of my lifetime from age 13 to 33. Although there is no such way a compilation could possibly reflect all my thoughts and ideas through those stages, it is representative of my growth, my evolution. The collection is split by decades: teens, twenties, and thirties. Where possible, the actual dates of the poems' creation are included. some poems reflect specific, personal situations, while others empathically represent situations from lives of those around me. Still other pieces may seem nonsensical yet needed to be included as a reminder of not to take life too seriously. Some selections are raw and push the borders of language but show honest reactions formed via artistic filters. Unfortunately, some of the poems may seem mean and hurtful. it is my most sincere hope that the individuals to whom those are directed do NOT take the words personally as those items of self-expression were an essential part of my healings and growing process. This collection is open and honest. I hope you enjoy, maybe, you will even be inspired!

This book was released on 2020-07-20 with total page 303 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Beginning with the spectacle of hysteria, moving through the perversions of fetishism, masochism, and sadism, and ending with paranoia and psychosis, this book explores the ways that conflicts with the Oedipal law erupt on the body and in language in Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, for Chaucer’s tales are rife with issues of mastery and control that emerge as conflicts not only between authority and experience but also between power and knowledge, word and flesh, rule books and reason, man and woman, same and other – conflicts that erupt in a macabre sprawl of broken bones, dismembered bodies, cut throats, and decapitations. Like the macabre sprawl of conflict in the Canterbury Tales, this book brings together a number of conflicting modes of thinking and writing through the surprising and perhaps disconcerting use of “shadow” chapters that speak to or against the four “central” chapters, creating both dialogue and interruption.

Download or read book Orangeville written by Wayne Townsend and published by Dundurn. This book was released on 2006-11-21 with total page 296 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Town of Orangeville has a colourful, exciting past – a history being documented in book form for the first time. From the early days of the Irish pioneers escaping the political problems of Ireland to the present influx of new residents fleeing the pressures of cities, Orangeville has been a town that has adapted well to change, always ready for new ideas. The strength of the community has been the people who have chosen to live there and who have left us interesting traces of their lives and the times. Much of the material used to research this book comes from newspapers, diaries, letters and other first-person documents, and archival photographs. Wherever possible, original quotes and stories in the language of the residents of the town appear throughout this history. The story of Orangeville and its surrounding area starts with the story of the Credit River, which rises within the town limits and maintains its presence as the town enters the 21st century. Brimming with stories never before heard, the pages are filled with humour, sadness and the range of emotions characteristic of a small Ontario town. For some the book will awaken memories; for others, it will introduce them to the community where they have chosen to live.
